Care and Feeding

African grey parrot also known as Congo African grey bird is a high maintenance parrot and needs a lot of attention and care. This birds in captivity feed mostly on formulated pellets to maintain a healthy balance diet meanwhile in the wild they feed on seeds, nuts, fresh fruits, vegetables and sometimes insects for protein. The African Grey parrot should be provided with a minimum of 4 hours daily outside the cage to play and exercise as this birds to not like to be confined for too long. Provide the parrot with plays toys to play and keep the beak busy.
